The use of AI lenses is a fast growing trend in 2017 social media tactics. Many more companies are using the custom filters to help target and engage new customers in a geo-targeted area. Brands have the ability to “age-gate” their ad to ensure the filter is in front of an age appropriate audience. Jameson deployed their St. Patrick’s Day filter to just the Canadian market, targeting Canadian whiskey drinkers and others participating in the St. Patrick’s Day festivities. #StPatricksDay#Jameson#AI https://goo.gl/oMnqo4
If you are still house-bound today because of the snow, here are our top 5 tips for staying productive on a snow day.
1. Treat it as a regular workday: Start your morning like you would on a normal workday to maximize your time. Snow days are great for catching up and getting a jump on projects.
2. Stay connected: Technology was created to keep connected to your colleagues on days like this. Set up calls or Skype meetings throughout the day and create a collaborative workspace in Google Docs or Microsoft Office 365. Prepare your smartphone or mobile device in case the power goes out so you’ll still have access without a wireless internet connection.
3.Get organized and plan your day: Make a list and prioritize. Remember, a lot of offices are likely closed today – so you will have some additional time to focus.
4.Set boundaries: If your kids are home from school, it’s normal for them to be excited about this day off. Set them up with fun activities and let them know when you can connect with them throughout the day, so you can get productive.
5.Take breaks: Remember to step away from your desk and computer periodically--it’s good to take a walk or stop for a quick snack to keep your creative juices flowing. Or go outside and toss some snow around with the family--you’ll feel refreshed and ready to get those projects completed.
Such an inspiring story. I was a single mom who traveled all over the world at a time when there were no cell phones or FaceTime. My daughter was raised to be strong, independent and intuitive, but compassionate and giving. I am so pleased at the progress women have made and continue to make in the business world, and I am thrilled to know they can have a personal life, raise families and still give back while juggling the realities of business and life. The generation of women before me would be shocked at the possibilities. The women we mentor and inspire will take it further for all the young women in the future. And the young men of the future will never question the balance of equality at all. One day, history will look back and question why there was ever a question of women’s equality at all.
